The COVID pandemic prevention measures do not allow for seminars and physical activities for this year’s observance of the WORLD FOOD SAFETY DAY, 7th June 2020. Many activities by different stakeholders are via webinars and virtual campaigns.
The Radio and Television are also good platforms to create awareness and give education especially to the larger group of Food chain actors in the Informal Food sector.
Please join Prof. Folake Henshaw, a NIFST Fellow and Food Safety Champion, from the Dept of Food Science and Technology, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, to discuss FOOD SAFETY, tomorrow Saturday 6th June 2020 on OGTV at 8.30 am and Funaab Radio on Monday 8th June 2020 at 10am.
Topic ; Food Safety and COVID- 19 pandemic
Thumb up to the Nigerian Institute of Food Science & Technology.
If it is not safe, then it is not food.
Food Safety is everyone’s business.
Good day.
I and my colleague made payment for membership since January 16, 2020 but were supposed to submit the form by March when we were at Lagos for a training. Unfortunately, the Covid 19 prevented that. What do we do now?
How do we submit our filled forms. Secondly, we are in Akwa Ibom and don’t have any member of NIFST to sign our referee section. What do we do?
So sorry this is just getting to me. I hope ur issues have been resolved. Otherwise, mail me directly at dola.adeboye@gmail.com
