Following 41 years (1973 – present) of existence, the Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka is planning a Home Coming Celebration for her Alumni/Alumnae. The event will take place at the Margaret Ekpo Convocation Arena, University of Nigeria, Nsukka from Thursday April 23 to Saturday, April 25, 2015. The programme will feature lectures, exhibitions, symposia and consultations. It will be a great opportunity for you to network with other graduates of the Department you may not have met during your stay here
It is our desire to use the opportunity to invite captains of the food and food-related industries to the programme in order to familiarize them with the potentials of the Department and to explore collaborations with them that would be of mutual benefit to both parties.
The Department will use this unique opportunity to solicit for assistance towards achieving academic and professional excellence in the discipline as enshrined in our Strategic Plan for Excellence.
