The Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), a professional body actively involved in developing and building self-reliant professionals in the Food Industry, Regulatory Agencies, Research and Tertiary Institutions, is organizing a Two-day Training programme on “use of statistical soft-wares for data analysis and documentation for food industries”
In furtherance of our response to requests from past participants at our previous research methodology workshops and the annual conferences for hands-on training in the use of statistical software in experimental design, data analysis, documentation and presentations, the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST) wishes to organize a training workshop on the above theme.
AIM OF WORKSHOP
The workshop will be useful to anyone involved in the processing of data from formulation of products (food, animal feed, drugs, and chemicals), clinical field trials, fisheries regulatory data analysis, sensory and consumer studies, storage stability, data analysis testing, engineering design and maintenance etc. The aim of the workshop is to impart hands-on competence in this area of R & D.
NATURE OF WORKSHOP
Participants will have ample time on the practical use of computers to solve R&D problems. Participants must understand basic elements of computing. Ownership of laptop is desirable. Come with your pen flash.
