NIFST Congratulates Western Chapter 2nd Vice Chairperson-The first female Professor (Faculty of Agriculture) at University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Prof. (Mrs.) Olayinka Ramota Karim, the 2nd Vice-Chairperson of Western Chapter of NIFST has recorded a landmark of pride to the Institute. This she achieved by becoming the fist female Professor (Faculty of Agriculture) at University of Ilorin. Although, she bagged her Professorial title in 2014, her significant achievements among which is the fact the she is the first female Professor at her faculty came to reckoning during the recent Inaugural Lecture of the University of Ilorin, titled “Good Food Yesterday, Better Today and Best Tomorrow” which was delivered by her. A researcher of over two decades experience, Prof. Karim has served NIFST in different leadership and administrative capacities in Western Chapter. She was the LOC Chair, for the 5th Regional Food Science and Technology Summit (REFoSTS), 2019 and current 2nd Vice-Chairperson of the Chapter. NIFST congratulates her on her achievement.
