On Monday, 7th March, 2025 NIFST Train moved to University of Ibadan for the School’s 5th Induction Ceremony into Graduate Membership of NIFST for 2023/2024 Set. The event was presided over by the NIFST President and Chairman-of-Council, Dr. Bola Osinowo (FNIFST, FIAFoST). Our Emeritus Professor, Prof. O.C. Aworh ( FNIFST, FIAFoST) graced the occasion with the NIFST Past National Secretary, Dr. Akin Fagbemi with the Western Chapter Chairperson, Prof. Aishat B. Akinwande as the Chief Host. Highlights of the event was when the Best Graduating Student of Food Technology for 2023/2024 Set, Miss Christianah Ogunleye was awarded the sum of N50,000.00 by the NIFST President and Dr. Akin Fagbemi equally supported with additional N50,000.00 bringing the total amount that the lady received to be N100,000.00 which has been transfered to her account and she has called to acknowledge the kind gesture which is first of its kind in the history of any Graduate Induction Programme.
