Regional Food Science and Technology Summit (ReFoSTS)/ NIFST DAY Celebration is a unique 2- day gathering of Food professionals across all chapters of NIFST in all the geopolitical zones every June. During this meeting, stakeholders are drawn from government and policy-making institutions, industries, trade and private sector operators, NGOs, agro and allied industries, academia, research organizations and students within Nigeria. The event creates a forum for stakeholders of Food Science and Technology to discuss, interact and exchange ideas on Food value chains and creates opportunities for wealth creation and Food security.
Some of the themes available to us from different chapters of NIFST so far are as follows:
1. Western Chapter = INNOVATION IN FOOD TECHNOLOGY: Enhancing Safety, Nutrition and Economic Opportunity (ongoing)
