The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral research fellow in the field of ANALYTICAL BIOCHEMISTRY and PLANT METABOLOMICS.  Candidates should ideally have applicable experience in the following techniques: LC-MS, GC-MS and multivariate data analysis.

 

Available infrastructure includes:

[1] Shimadzu 8030 LC/MS/MS connected to a Shimadzu Nexera ultra-fast UHPLC

[2] Shimadzu LC-IT-TOF-MS enabling LC/MSn high-precision mass analysis

[3] Shimadzu 2010 Ultra GC-MS

[4] Waters UPLC Synapt G1 high definition ion mobility TOF MS
