On 7 March 2025, a delegation of the Executive Committee of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology Western Chapter led by the Chairperson Prof. Bolanle Akinwande visited me in my office to congratulate me and present a plaque on my appointment as the very first Emeritus Professor in the Department of Food Technology, University of Ibadan. Also present at the event were the Head of Department, Prof. Gibson Arueya, and other academic staff. This is the LORD’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes.
