The Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST) has successfully inaugurated the NIFST membership branch of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria on 11th June, 2019. This was made possible through NIFST Industry Linkage Committee’s meeting with the Regulatory Agency. The meeting was part of the NIFST Linkage Committee’s moves to synthesize partnership and collaboration with Government Regulatory Agencies towards the achievement of important goals in the strategic agenda of NIFST going forward. During the meeting, NIFST delegates led by the President Mr ‘Wole ‘Toye deliberated with Key officers of SON on areas of mutual responsibility to the society.
