The well-attended inauguration of the President of The Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), Prof. Maduebibisi Ofor Iwe as Vice-Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU) held on Monday, 1st March 2021 to the glory of God. Many thanks to the NIFST South East Chapter ably led by Mr Obinna Anyawu for turning out in large number to honour our President. Special thanks also go to the Acting Dean, College of Applied Food Sciences and Tourism (CAFST), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Prof Nneoma Obasi and her Staff and students for making the occasion truly memorable with lots of fanfare, pomp and pageantry. National officers present at the event include Prof. Joseph O. Abu; Dr Stephen Fagbemi, Dr C. Ogbuji, Mr Bruce Ugo.
