Prof Hafiz Abubakar a Fellow of the Institute was recently sworn in as the Deputy Governor of Kano state on the 29th of May, 2015.

Osuji Ph.D (4th on the left), Prof Hafiz Abubakar ( Chairman, North Central Chapter and Deputy Governor of Kano State) , Dr Adamu (NIFST Ist Vice President, Mr Sanni ( Chapter Chairman, North Eastern, 4th from the right) and other NIFSTers .
