On behalf of the Governing Council, we are pleased to invite you to the 49th NIFST International Conference and Annual General Meeting with the theme: “Next-Generation Food Science and Technology Solutions for Nation Building” which will hold from 20th -24th October, 2025 at the M&M Event Centre, Offa Road Beside St. Anthony’s Secondary School GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The Conference offers a platform to elaborate a sustainable framework to address the contemporary national issue of diversification of national economy through innovation in Food Processing and packaging as a veritable option. Food Science and Technology anchors the bridge that links and drives the chain ensuring a seamless and beneficial relationship between primary food production and the consumers.

The Conference will address various topical issues on Food Processing and Packaging, Food safety, Consumer advocacy and export of our Nigerian foods to the global market.
