Nigerians have been urged to consume more of natural products, as it reduces the risk of cancer.
Director, Symmetry Marketing Services, Bismark Osafo, gave this advice in an interview with the Guardian recently. He lamented the invasion of cancer in our society, and blamed it on the side effects of the consumption of inorganic and artificial products, which Nigerians use for the treatment of ailments.
He urged Nigerians to cultivate the habit of using natural products, which are mostly from natural herbs, as that would reduce the risk of cancer in the society,as most of the inorganic products have cancer as their side effects.
He stated that there is need for encouragement of natural products by the government, because Nigerians believe more in the consumption of inorganic products for the treatment of their ailments, while urging the government to promote and encourage natural products, as they are also effective and are not likely to have side effects like the inorganic products because they are gotten form natural herbs.
Speaking further, Osifo said our environment and diet are another cause of cancer in our society, adding that Nigerians should be mindful of their diets and the kind of environment they live in, adding that every organ has a life span and when misused, could result in sickness, which may eventually lead to deatth
